Description
The use of screw air compressors compared to piston ones has a number of advantages. They are reliable and have only two moving parts, i.e. rotors. There are no suction or discharge valves required for reciprocating compressors. Despite the high precision of manufacturing parts and small friction clearances, it is necessary to use a seal to eliminate the gap between the housing and the rotor in order to create high pressure.
The work of the seal is performed by high-quality oils. In addition to their role as a seal, they remove the heat generated by the compressor, thus cooling the rotor. Since these oils are in close contact with oxygen in compressed air, they must meet certain serious requirements. RENOLIN SC series oils meet all the requirements for such products.
