MASTERSOL DC13

Description

The latest development in lubricants for copper rod and strip manufacturing processes. MASTERSOL series products have increased thermal resistance, cleaning ability, and also help ensure the cleanliness of equipment and products.

The design of modern drawing units has focused on increasing production efficiency, which has led to increased drawing mill speeds.

A characteristic feature of such machines is the use of small-sized lubrication systems, and lubricants are applied by spraying rather than by pouring or dipping. This trend required an increase in lubrication characteristics due to higher operating temperatures and pressure, as well as a reduction in the recovery time of the working emulsion.

The MASTERSOL series products have been specially developed to meet the above requirements and have significantly better oxidation resistance properties than conventional lubricants. The result is products that provide additional cleanliness of units, increased emulsion life, which can reduce the level of copper dust (catalyzing the production of lubricant) during the process, as well as resist it.

Advantages and Benefits
- Exceptional thermal stability of the product minimizes its thermal decomposition
- Excellent ability of the product to resist the influence of copper dust deposits
- Specially recommended for problematic processes in terms of lubrication, in cases where low-performance lubricant supply systems are used
- Micro emulsion particle size allows for complex filtration
- Exceptional protection against tool wear, including hardened steel, tungsten carbide, ceramic, natural and synthetic diamond

Storage
Drums should be stored in a clean, dry and warm place without exposure to extreme temperatures

Mixing Instructions
Optimal mixing is achieved by adding MASTERSOL DC13 to water or emulsion at the point of maximum turbulence and at a temperature above 10°C.

Operating temperature range
Optimal performance of MASTERSOL DC13 PLUS is achieved by maintaining the emulsion mass temperature in the range of 35-45°C.

Recommended concentrations
Rough copper drawing: 8 – 15 mm 10 – 12%
Average copper drawing: 3 – 6 mm 8%
Fine copper drawing: <3 mm 2 – 5%
Aluminum drawing: 20 – 30%
