Application area

- Plastic molding:
For thermally stressed injectors, main drives and other sliding surfaces of plastic injection molding machines. Suitable for sensitive materials such as PC (polycarbonate), EPDM (ethylene - propylene rubber), etc. Due to low evaporation losses, Rivolta SKD 6002 lubricates well under high thermal loads over a long period of time.

- Rolling and sliding bearings:
Lubrication at high temperatures, for example: dryer bearings, electric motors, fans and compressors, furnace impellers, autoclave trolleys, etc.

- Bearings and guides:
In the presence of aggressive environments, for example in the chemical or metalworking industries.

Material Compatibility

Rivolta SKD 6002 has excellent compatibility with plastics and seals. SKD 6002 does not mix with products based on mineral and synthetic oils.

Preparing the unit for lubrication

Before applying Rivolta SKD 6002, it is necessary to clean the surface as best as possible from dirt and deposits. High product performance is only achieved when applied to clean metal surfaces.
